WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT

Our non-profit agency relies on funding from local grants, fees for services, and donations from individuals and businesses to assist our clients in moving beyond the pain of grief. We strive to continue our free support groups and expand our services to other areas. Your support helps us reach others in need.

The goal of the Grief Recovery Center is to ensure that anyone coping with grief, loss and other mental health issues can find safe and professional support To achieve this, we offer individual and family counseling, grief support groups, special year round programs for children, crisis response teams to help businesses and schools coping with a tragedy, and speaker programs to educate the community about grief and loss.

 

Donations can also be mailed via check made out to the Grief Recovery Center located at: 4939 Jamestown Ave., Suite 101, Baton Rouge, LA 70808.

PARTNER WITH US

GRCBR has several ways you can partner with us:

  • Sponsor a Support Group: all of the drop-in support groups are staffed with a licensed counselor, contact us about sponsoring a group - Jennifer at jtewell@grcbr.org

  • Sponsorship for Culinary Arts for Healing Hearts (CAHH): this is our Signature Annual Event, typically held in April each year, we have multiple ways to partner during this event - Learn More about sponsorship opportunities (INSERT LINK)

  • Gift-A-Grant: make a donation specifically to fund our uninsured/underinsured client grant program, sessions range from $50-$100 - INSERT LINK CLICK TO GIFT-A-GRANT

  • In-kind Donations: our agency serves a diverse set of clients and hosts different programs for the community, learn the ways you can support GRCBR through in-kind donations

  • Volunteer: we are a small agency that can always use an extra set of hands in community programs, office, and events
