CHILDREN AND TEENS
Children and teens often experience and cope with grief differently than adults. Many children put on a "brave face" in an attempt to avoid upsetting the adults around them. Individual counseling is available with counselors trained in childhood grief. Free support groups are held for children and parents each spring and fall. If a child you know from ages
4-17 is suffering from grief, we can help.
The grief process is often misunderstood leaving co-workers, classmates, and friends at a loss with how to cope when someone dies. If your group, school, or business wants more information on affects of grief and loss and ways to move forward, we can help.
